Role Overview
Turing invites Tax Law experts to join projects that fine-tune AI models like ChatGPT. You will apply your expertise in federal income tax, corporate tax planning, partnership taxation, and tax controversy to evaluate how AI handles complex tax scenarios.
If you enjoy analyzing Code sections, parsing IRS guidance, and evaluating tax-productive structures, this is your chance. No prior AI experience is required — your background in U.S. tax law is exactly what’s needed.
What Does Day-to-Day Look Like
Review and evaluate AI-generated responses to U.S. tax law hypotheticals, including individual and corporate income tax, pass-through entity taxation, international tax provisions (GILTI, BEAT, Subpart F), and tax controversy procedures.
Apply a structured legal rubric to assess issue spotting, accuracy of Internal Revenue Code provisions, and proper application of Treasury Regulations and IRS guidance.
Identify gaps in AI reasoning around basis calculations, gain recognition, tax credits,
