This Audiologist position would be based out of the Camrose Skilled Centre serving the pediatric population. Some of the duties include being part of a permanent hearing loss inter-disciplinary team and supervising therapy assistants who screen for our early hearing infant detection program. Camrose is known for it's hiking/cross country ski trails, small town cafes and shops downtown, and it's vibrant theatre/arts community. For employees who accept a difficult-to-recruit regular position at a worksite in Alberta's North, Central or South Zones. Up to $60,000 depending on FTE and length of Return for Service Agreement.
As an Audiologist, you will be working both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team, where you will be responsible for the screening, identification, assessment and management of patients (clients) presenting with hearing and balance (vestibular) disorders. Your leadership and interpersonal skills will be important to you in supervising students and providing clinical guidance to other staff as appropriate. You will use your clinical expertise to inform program development and planning. You will interpret findings, provide counselling regarding hearing loss and balance dysfunction,
and establish appropriate intervention plans to manage and reduce the functional impact of hearing loss. You will provide patients, their families and other specialists with information and recommendations; making referrals to other agencies and professionals as required.

Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Audiology. Active or eligible registration with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
