As a key member of the Maintenance, you’ll help shape health and wellness outcomes for people around the world.
In this role, you will:
Be responsible for maintaining and repairing production and non- production equipment and machinery including air compressors, pumps and HVAC. Perform preventative scheduled maintenance on equipment. Troubleshoot equipment as required to implement increase uptime.
Specific Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Repair packaging, tabulating, blending, coating and building systems as required.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance as scheduled.
- Prepare purchase orders for replacement parts.
- Document preventative maintenance, repair work and spare parts to facilitate SOP requirements
- Assist in rigging requirements on new equipment and relocation projects.
- Weld or machine parts as required to facilitate repairs on equipment.
- Assist where necessary in other maintenance functions throughout the facility.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Maintain equipment in maintenance shop.
- Practice safe health and safety practices when performing job responsibilities.
- Working in compliance with the company' s Health & Safety Policies/SOP's including but not limited to the Safety Responsibilities Procedure.
- Will comply with Good Manufacturing Practices in all GMP sensitive areas of Jamieson Laboratories Ltd. Facilities
What You Bring
You bring curiosity, collaboration, and a desire to do meaningful work. You may bring education and experience in:
- Red Seal Certificate of Qualifications as a 433 lndustrial Mechanic (Millwright)
- Dual ticket as a 442 or 309A would be highly desirable
- Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
- Consideration may be given to Red seal tickets in similar fields e.g. 3131A Refrigeration mechanic, 429A General machinist
- Working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical.
- Ability to read equipment drawings and equipment manuals.
- Self-starter able to work with minimum supervision.
- Available to work three shift operation and required overtime.
- Strong verbal and written English skills.
- Good communication skills with all levels of employees
