We are supporting an established global financial services business as it builds its leadership pipeline for an upcoming Vice President position within its Private Credit Fund Accounting team.
This is a leadership role combining technical fund accounting, client management, operational oversight and team development.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading and developing a team of fund accounting professionals
- Overseeing NAV calculations, financial statements and investor allocations
- Reviewing management fees, fund expenses, waterfalls and carried interest calculations
- Managing capital activity, investor reporting and other client deliverables
- Interpreting partnership agreements, offering documents and complex fund terms
- Acting as a senior point of contact for institutional private credit clients
- Coordinating audit activity and working with tax, investor relations and reporting teams
- Managing resources, workflows and performance against client service levelsImproving processes through automation,
technology and operational change
The position would suit an experienced private markets accounting professional who can provide technical oversight while also managing people, clients and competing delivery priorities.
We are particularly interested in candidates with:
- 8+ years of private credit, private debt or private markets fund accounting experience
- Leadership experience at Vice President, Director or equivalent level
- Solid knowledge of waterfalls, allocations and complex fund structures
- Experience reviewing general ledgers and financial statements
- Knowledge of US GAAP and relevant accounting standards
- A recognised accounting or finance qualification
- Investran experience, although this is not essential
