About the job Industrial Millwright - Day Shift - 42.30$/ hrWe are hiring aMaintenance Millwrightto join our team in Toronto, ON!The position will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and work closely with the Operations team. You will be a critical member of our team, and your work will be imperative to our day-to-day operations and the overall successful growth of the business.Duties & Responsibilities:Repair/rebuild pumps, mixers, and other material handling equipmentPerform mechanical repairs to equipment and FacilityRespond in a timely manner to machine breakdown to maximize equipment uptimeMaintain organized and tidy work areas, including clean-up after machine repairsComplete prescribed corrective and preventative maintenance as assignedAssist with maintenance of parts inventory by monitoring stock levels and making re-order requestsAssist in maintaining a safe plant environment through prompt response to safety work requests/observationMaintain organized and tidy work areas, including clean-up after machine repairsRespond in a timely manner to emergency "call in" for facility and equipment repairReport any safety concerns/hazards or defects to leadership on site when identifiedPerform other job-related duties as assigned.Education/Licence/Certifications:Licenced Millwright (Province of Ontario) requiredKnowledge & Experience:Three (3) years' experienceExperience in welding, pipefitting, handling pumps (centrifugal and progressive cavity)
