What You'll Do
Reporting to theJourneypersonPSE/Electrician, the role of PSE/Electrician Apprentice is toinstall new andmaintainlow and high voltage equipment in a substation.Under this role the PSE/Electrician Apprentice will gain hands-on experience with the installation of ground grids, structural steel's erection and the repair and assembly of power system equipment.The PSE/Electrician Apprentice is responsible toassistwith theinstallation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of high voltage transformers and all other related equipment ona substation.

Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

Assistin theday to dayactivities involved with substation construction

Work with Journeyman PSE/Electrician to install ground grids, power system equipment's assembly, cable tray, low voltage cable pull and terminations, medium voltage Cable Pulland erection of structural steel

Comply,at all times,



with Rising Edge Technologies operating and maintenance safe work practices,proceduresand standards

What You'll Bring

Indentured into Electrical apprenticeship program

Have knowledge of the Alberta Electrical Utility Code (A.E.U.C Safety Codes Act) and Occupational Health and Safety rules as theyrelate to the PSE/Electrician role

Have a valid Alberta Provincial Class 5 driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office and computer basedtest equipmentwould be an asset

Must meet pre-access Drug & Alcohol testing requirements

Must be able to work comfortably at heights

Additional Information
This position isdesignatedas safety-sensitive making employment contingent upon the successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, as well as criminal and general background checks.

Schedule

Rotation: 5 days on, 2 days off

Workweek: 48 hours per week

Shifts: 10-hour shifts Monday–Thursday, 8-hour shift Friday's
