Job Description

FLINT is seeking Apprentice Electricians with Oil field experience for a 4-month project in Wood Buffalo, AB starting January 12th, 2026. In this position, you will enjoy a 14 days in & 7 days out schedule, 10-hour workdays, camp accommodation, travel pay- varies, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.

Qualifications





Minimum 2 years’ experience as Apprentice Electrician in Oil Feilds.

Valid Apprentice Electrician certificate/ticket.

3–5 years of industrial electrical experience, preferably in oil sands or heavy industry.

Skilled in EHT installation, LV cable terminations (120V–600V), and instrumentation wiring.

Ability to read electrical drawings and complete QA/QC documentation.

Capable of working safely in extreme conditions and following permit-to-work systems.

Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:

CSTS-2020

H2S Alive

Aerial Work Platform

Fall Protection

Standard First Aid

Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.

Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.

Must have own reliable transportation to site.

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
