Neuroscience Specialty Representative - Rexulti
Overview of the role and responsibilities for a Neuroscience Specialty Representative covering Rexulti products. The incumbent will manage the territory, promote OCPI CNS products to healthcare professionals, ensure compliance with drug laws and OCPI standards, and support educational activities and administrative duties.
Responsibilities
Achieve the assigned sales objective for the territory.
Promote OCPI CNS products to MDs and other mental health HCPs through meaningful scientific and business exchange.
Execute calls on general practitioners, psychiatrists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to provide product information and ensure availability and use of OCPI products in the territory; engage in in-depth conversations with customers using multiple data sets across a broad base of approved product indications; navigate complex organizational structures including hospitals and healthcare communities.
Collaborate with OCPI and co-promotion partners to maximize commercial success and implement marketing activities.
Lead implementation of educational activities for MDs and other HCPs where appropriate.
Provide insights to the head office brand team and sales colleagues; be proactive and responsive to emerging territory trends.
Attain designated goals for calls to healthcare professionals and communicate balanced, accurate, and complete information on OCPI products.
Implement educational activities with target customers per the plan of action.
Manage the territory efficiently with key physician/account prioritization, daily call reporting, and sample accountability; develop and execute effective business plans.
Comply with provincial and federal laws, regulations and guidelines including Rx&D; Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals and OCPI policies.
Identify and develop Subject Matter Experts and Key Opinion Leaders within the territory.
Complete required training courses and continually update product knowledge; complete the appropriate CCPE designation(s).
Timely, efficient reporting and completion of all administrative tasks; manage territory budget in a cost-efficient and timely manner.
Maintain compliant and ethical conduct across all activities; report Safety Information, Product Quality Complaints, and Customer Feedback according to training procedures.
Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications and Key Competencies
B.Sc. or B.A. degree required
Minimum of two years’ experience as a Neuroscience/Pharmaceutical Representative is preferred; open to candidates with a proven sales track record in other fields
Results oriented, proactive, able to think critically and strategically with a proven execution track record
Innovative and solution oriented
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to build strong relationships; demonstrated teamwork and emotional intelligence
Adaptability in a changing environment
Experience in co-commercialization is a definite asset
Ability to speak English; French considered an asset (except in QC)
Computer proficiency is required
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record (no more than three moving violation convictions in the past three years)
