We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Technician/Fabricator to join our team, working at the cutting edge of physical product development.

What You Will Do Fabrication & Assembly: Build, assemble, and fabricate mechanical prototypes and final products from engineering drawings and schematics. This includes a variety of materials such as metals, composites, and plastics.
Prototyping: Operate a range of tools and equipment, including manual and power tools, machining equipment, 3D printers, and welding/soldering tools to create functional prototypes.
Product Testing: Assist the engineering team in setting up and conducting tests on components and assemblies, providing valuable feedback for design iterations.
Wiring & Integration: Perform basic wiring, soldering, and component assembly to integrate electronic and electrical systems into mechanical enclosures and frames.
Quality Control: Inspect and verify components to ensure they meet specified dimensions and quality standards.
Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean,
organized, and safe workshop environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order.
What We Are Looking For A college diploma, technical certificate, or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as Manufacturing Technology, Machining, Mechatronics, or a related trade.
2 years of hands-on experience in fabrication, assembly, and prototyping, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to read and accurately interpret complex engineering blueprints and schematics, including GD&T.;
Proficiency with various hand and power tools. Experience with machining equipment (lathe, mill) or welding is a significant asset.
A strong mechanical aptitude and excellent attention to detail.
Experience in the defense, aerospace, or robotics industries is a strong advantage.
