Our member, RJ's Mechanical , is seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Technician to join their team in Woodstock, ON . RJ's Mechanical is a local HVAC/R company that has been delivering honest, certified heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration solutions for homes, businesses and industry for over two decades.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems.

Inspect HVAC systems and components for potential issues.

Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system problems.

Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and replacing filters.

Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.

Test HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality.

Follow blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturer instructions.

Comply with all safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Certification or associate degree in HVAC or a related field (preferred).

Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role.

Robust knowledge of HVAC systems and components.

Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings.

Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to HVAC work.





Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Skills

Ability to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems.

Knowledge of mechanical systems and components.

Understanding of plumbing principles related to HVAC systems.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.

Experience with appliance repair and troubleshooting.

Strong mechanical aptitude for diagnosing system issues.

Welding skills for joining metal components.

Job Details

Job Type: Full‑time.

Pay: $43.50 - $53.50 per hour.

Expected Hours: 40 - 50 per week.
