We are seeking an experienced Blaster responsible for assisting our crews in British Columbia. Although we are a union affiliated organization,



being an active member is not a pre-requisite.
Job duties: Preparation of blasting plans, loading of and detonating blasts.
Qualifications:
Blasting experience around houses and urban settings is considered an asset.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Natural ability to solve problems, communicate clearly and effectively.
Able to work flexible hours based on job requirements.
Enjoy working outdoors in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Valid Canadian driver’s license, with a clean driving abstract.
Experience working in the heavy civil construction industry.
Must possess a BC Mines Blasting Ticket.
Must possess a Work Safe BC Urban Blasting Ticket.
Knowledge in blasting shearline and production techniques.
Understanding of the Work Safe requirements for Blasting.
Current TDG ticket.
