We are looking for a technician to join our building mechanical team in the Montreal area (Montreal, Laval, or Longueuil). This role focuses on the design of building mechanical systems and involves participating in the design of plans and models, carrying out surveys, and assisting our engineering team with project realization in the commercial, industrial, institutional, and hospital sectors.
Responsibilities
Participate in building mechanical design (plumbing, heating, and ventilation)
Carry out field surveys and plan surveys
Produce drawings and models using AutoCAD and REVIT software
Ensure compliance with norms and standards for drawings and models
Make site visits to carry out surveys or supervise work
Participate in calculations and equipment searches under the supervision of the project engineer
Assist in the production of plans and specifications, and process and analyze data
Qualifications
College diploma (DEC) in a field related to building mechanics or equivalent
Minimum of five years’ relevant experience
Good command of AutoCAD and REVIT software
Proficiency in spoken and written French
ASP Construction card (an asset)
Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
