Archer Business Analyst – GRC, QA & Archer SaaS
Role Description: Support the delivery of enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions on the Archer SaaS platform. Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure business requirements are translated into scalable, compliant solutions aligned with risk and regulatory objectives. Support Quality Assurance (QA) activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis

Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder workshops and interviews.

Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and process flows aligned with Archer capabilities.

Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver business solutions.

Archer Configuration & Solution Support
Support the design and configuration of Archer applications, including:

Workflows

Questionnaires

Reporting

Data models

Quality Assurance

Develop and execute test cases aligned with business requirements and acceptance criteria.

Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect tracking and resolution.

Partner with stakeholders and technical teams to define test strategies, review test cases, and validate system functionality.

Agile Delivery

Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release support activities.

Support Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain project documentation, including:





Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)

Functional Specification Documents (FSDs)

Data mappings

User guides

Test plans

Test cases

Test results

Support reporting and dashboards for risk, audit, and regulatory stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

3–7+ years of Business Analyst experience with Archer.

Experience working with Archer Evolv.

Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Solid understanding of risk management, compliance, or audit processes.

Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience in QA activities, including test planning, test case development, and UAT support.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Archer use cases, including:

Operational Risk

IT Risk

Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)

Audit Management

Familiarity with integrations using APIs, ETL, and data mapping.

Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including:

SOX

OSFI

ISO 27001

GDPR

Relevant certifications such as:

CBAP

PMI-PBA

Agile/Scrum Certification

Archer Certification

Experience supporting large-scale GRC or enterprise transformation programs.
