Are you an experienced Carpenter leader looking for an exciting opportunity to work on a major industrial project? Do you thrive in managing teams and ensuring high-quality work in an industrial setting? At Ledcor, we take pride in safety, quality, and craftsmanship, and we’re looking for dedicated professionals to join our team for an expansion project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
Essential Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a crew of carpenters, concrete finishers/masons and labourers
Interface with the client and other contractors on site
Ensure site safety by maintaining a hazard-free environment and enforcing compliance with Ledcor’s health, safety, and environmental standards
Coordinate work activities with the client, contractors, and other forepersons to ensure smooth project execution
Plan and manage resources, equipment, and labour to keep operations efficient
Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately
Monitor project schedules to ensure work is completed within regular hours and meets deadlines
Resolve on-site challenges and proactively manage work sequencing
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in an industrial construction environment preferred
Journeyperson Carpenter
Strong carpentry and concrete formwork background with knowledge of industrial construction and related trades
Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
Valid driver’s license and clean abstract required
Work Conditions
Work schedule: 10 days on, and 4 days off plus statutory holidays off
Extended health perks provided by CLAC
Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB
