Kinetic Construction Ltd. (Kinetic) is a 100% employee‑owned company that employs approximately 250 team members and has been in business for 41 years with offices in Vancouver, Victoria, and Courtenay. We have an opportunity across any of our three branches for an Estimator to support the Chief Estimator / Pre‑Construction Manager team with all pre‑construction and estimating activities and to grow with us.

Wage band: $99,000 – $123,000 annually (based on relevant skills and experience).

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Architecture, or equivalent experience.

A Construction Related Technology Certificate Diploma (required).

5+ years of experience in Pre‑Construction, Estimating, or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Estimating and Quantity Take‑Off software knowledge is an asset.

Ability to read and interpret contract specifications, drawings, and other construction documents.

Solid attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude.

Self‑motivated with a willingness and ability to learn and be challenged.

Strong analytical, above‑average mathematical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem‑solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
