We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Property Management team as an Oil Burner Mechanic. This position installs, maintains, and repairs oil burners and related components and systems and performs minor plumbing and mechanical systems installations, repairs and maintenance ensuring the safe, productive, and reliable provision of specific heating, plumbing and mechanical services, within a wide variety of Yukon Government facilities in the Northern Region.

Job Requirements / Qualifications
Journeyman oil burner mechanic with an interprovincial Red Seal certificate
Experience troubleshooting, installing, maintaining and repairing oil burners and related components and systems
Basic computer skills would be an asset (Microsoft Outlook, Word, etc.)
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Suitability
Knowledge of the principles and practices of the oil burner trade, operation and maintenance of mechanical and HVAC systems in large buildings
Ability to set priorities, diagnose and research solutions
Knowledge of safe working practices, with a proactive approach to safety
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Conditions of Employment
Yukon Class 5 driver’s licence.
