As Facilities Manager, you will provide outstanding client service in the monitoring and control of our global office environments with a focus on Facilities projects, day to day operations, maintenance programs and vendor management within a corporate office environment. You will be responsible for managing the assigned locations in accordance with the requirements of all local, provincial/state, and federal requirements, coordinating and managing business requirements & service delivery to ensure satisfaction while meeting strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-today operations, and office support services globally.
Establish and maintain a safety-first culture by promoting and driving secure work practices, timely training and operating best practices.
Lead a team globally to execute facility support services within all global offices.
Initiate operations & maintenance plans safely and in alignment with client goals.
Lead on the execution of innovative programs, processes and procedures that reduce operating costs and increase productivity.
Manage project schedules, tasks, and act as liaison and first point of contact for contractors and design teams
Mentors, coaches and develops a team of high functioning individuals, supervisors staff, provides work direction/assignment of duties to meet operational requirements.
Management of physical security protocols and audits
Performing site inspections, regularly assessing sites and equipment to ensure assets/equipment are functional and clean.
Maintain asset management and life cycle tracking.
Resources/manages work of external service providers, negotiates/monitors contractual agreements for specialized maintenance, projects, or renovation work as required.
Monitoring supply inventory and ordering supplies including creating records of completed work.
Adhere to all Critical Environments procedures, equipment requirements and preventative maintenance to ensure reliability of systems while driving consistency across the portfolio.
Ensure client satisfaction with delivery of Facility Management services and provide a role in monitoring and improving customer experience across the portfolio. The ability to access, analyse and utilize data to drive continuous improvement is a must.
Ensure compliance with Dye & Durham operational audit programs, all Health and Safety, Environment and Risk Management policies and procedures that relate to the site/s.
Adhere to all Key Performance Indicator requirements to ensure all Master Service Agreement and compliance requirements are met.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Minimum of 5 years industry experience required, either in the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultant
Demonstrated leadership in mentorship,
implementing performance management and executing continuous training to build a skilled team
Demonstrated facility project coordination experience with office fit-outs, design build, office moves & decommissioning is a must
Ability to take initiative, disseminate information and be resourceful and flexible with a solution-based approach
Excellent communication, team building and customer service skill set
Experience managing multiple property sites
Experience in budget responsibilities, supplier management, problem solving, and client/customer relations.
Has a solid understanding of the corporate office environment and workplace management solutions
Demonstrated communication skills written and verbal including negotiation and conflict resolution
Must have strong MS 365 skills, including MS Excel, Word, and Power Point
Strong organizational skills and management skills

In line with the amended Employment Standards Act 2000, the salary range for this role is: $86K, dependent on assessment of skills during the interview process.
