Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.Job Responsibilities:JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Salary Range -$85,000-$95,000/yearManages construction or renovation projects from concept to finalizationCoordinates activities to maintain and/or enhance all facility related aspectsAdministers preventative maintenance programs / schedules for facilityLeads and schedules activities of Team MembersDevelops Team Members through coaching and mentoringProvides formal and informal performance feedback to Team MembersConducts accident / incident investigationsImplements corrective actions for Safety, Quality and all other auditsOversees security function, sourcing provider and managing all related policies and proceduresManages on site janitorial services to ensure contract commitments are metLeads Team Members in accordance with the principles of the Magna Employee’s Charter and policies and procedures set out in the Company Handbook.Knows and understands process documentation and customer specific requirements as they relate to this job functionFollows and complies with all Operational Procedures and Policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Quality and Environment programs (i.e., IATF16949,



ISO14001)Ensure 5S standards are known and being met.Drive improvement projects.Establish and maintain effective communications/interaction with all other Departments, including but not limited to production, engineering, quality assurance, HR and material control support groups in order to achieve established targets.Coordinate projects with outside contractors.Liaise with inspectors (ESA & TSSA).Maintain a current open issues task list for project tracking, and communicate project status to senior leadersSKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:Required to possess a mature, consistent attitude towards the responsibilities of the job.Must have strong leadership skills, must be able to lead by example whenever necessary and promote a team approach to problem solving.Must have sound knowledge of employment related legislative requirements.Must be self-motivated and display the skills required to develop and motivate employees.Must be capable of working under pressure and with short completion times on projects.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Minimum six (6) to eight (8) years of supervisory experience, in an automotive or manufacturing environment, is an assetDegree or diploma in construction, building maintenance or civil engineeringGood to have Construction and Maintenance (309A) or Industrial Electrician License (442A)Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practicesAble to read facility drawings and schematicsA solid understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulation 851 (Industrial)



and Regulation 213/91(Construction)Proficient in general computer use and Microsoft Excel and WordExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational and leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environmentGood mediation & problem-solving skillsAble to work required hours and physically perform the essential duties of the position.Available to work static or rotating shifts as requiredDemonstrates ability to work effectively within team environmentAbility to uphold confidentialityAwareness, Unity, Empowerment:At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
