Be part of the transformative First Nations Health Authority as a Dental Therapist. Based in Fort Saint James, you will provide essential oral health services and education in community environments.
Your role will deliver preventive and therapeutic care while fostering health education in First Nations communities across BC. Working independently and with a team, you will aim to improve oral health outcomes through engaging and effective programs tailored for diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver preventive and therapeutic dental care in First Nations communities
• Conduct oral health education programs to promote wellness
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams for effective patient care
• Manage travel logistics for remote community visits
• Oversee documentation and maintain quality improvement practices
Requirements:
• Accredited Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene
• Current BC license with the College of Oral Health Professionals
• 3-5 years' experience in clinical dental practice
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License needed
• Solid planning and communication skills for effective collaboration
Contribute to enhancing oral health services and support for the First Nations communities with the FNHA.
