Multi-site: Huntsville District Memorial Hospital (HDMH) and South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH). South Muskoka Memorial Hospital is the home site.
Location Requirements
Applicants must reside within 125 km of one of our hospital campuses or be willing to relocate prior to starting. Exceptions will be considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
Hours of Work
Must be available to work shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements per the collective agreement.
Role Overview
MAHC is looking for Registered Nurses to join our team. MAHC provides low‑risk obstetrical services that are patient‑centered at our Level 1 sites. The role involves providing immediate impact in patients’ lives and supporting current life into the world.
Qualifications
Current certificate of registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario required
2 years experience of acute medical/surgical nursing experience
1–2 years of relevant labour and delivery nursing, and post‑partum nursing experience an asset
IV Certified
Current BLS
Regional Pediatric Orientation Program (PALS)
RNAO Breastfeeding e‑learning (or equivalent)
