As an Ultrasound Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for executing diagnostic sonographic procedures within the BayCare Health System. Your support will extend to RIS data management, physician assistance, and general clerical work, ensuring smooth operations. The role includes variable shifts with potential weekend and on-call responsibilities, catering to your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures on patients
• Manage RIS data and support file room organization
• Provide assistance to physicians during exams
• Handle patient transportation and housekeeping duties
• Conduct general clerical work as required
Requirements:
• Associate’s degree in Ultrasound or comparable experience
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• RDMS certification is mandatory
• ARRT Radiography and AART recommended
• Hospital experience in Ultrasound is nonessential, but valued
