This role is designed for an accomplished aerospace safety expert with a strong background in Flight Safety and system safety engineering. Your responsibilities will include crafting a safety philosophy, engaging with regulatory authorities, and leading safety analyses essential for mission assurance. You'll integrate safety processes into engineering practices while managing safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement overall Flight Safety strategies
• Manage the vehicle safety case, including hazard analysis
• Conduct FMECA, FTA, and relevant risk assessments
• Define safety requirements for Flight Termination Systems
• Mentor the Flight Safety team and establish best practices
Requirements:
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Flight Safety or related areas
• Proven experience with launch vehicles or complex programs
• Deep understanding of industry safety regulations
• Proficiency with safety modelling and assessment techniques
• Experience leading engineering teams effectively
