CES Energy Solutions is looking for a self‑motivated and experienced individual to fill the position of Information Technology Support Analyst . This full‑time, permanent position is in Calgary, Alberta and reports directly to the Director of Information Technology.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or deskside support.
Respond to and resolve support requests within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs), consistently meeting response and resolution targets.
Triage and prioritize incoming tickets based on urgency and business impact, escalating appropriately to ensure critical and time-sensitive issues are addressed first.
Demonstrate self‑motivation and initiative in identifying and resolving technical issues, proactively picking up work without needing direction.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on primarily Windows operating systems.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.
Document technical procedures and configurations.
Collaborate with other team members within the group to resolve IT problems.
Take ownership of projects and work independently to complete them.
Provide a high level of customer service and ensure employee satisfaction.
Complete all other duties as required,
including moving equipment weighing up to 50 pounds

Necessary Qualifications
A diploma or degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Must be eligible to work in Canada.
The ideal candidate will have
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and customer service skills.
The ability to work in a demanding environment and manage multiple priorities.
A positive and professional attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Experience with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and remote access tools.
Experience with desktop hardware and peripherals, including printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
Availability to work on‑call and outside business hours.
Experience in an IT support or help desk role is an asset.
Experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset.
