The primary objective of the “Capital Investment & Projects” department is to maintain operations and support the growth of Plant 5. The selected Project Manager will therefore be responsible for managing multidisciplinary projects of varying scope related to the facilities, equipment, and processes used at Plant 5. This individual will report to the Senior Manager responsible for Technical Support and Strategic Projects. This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours in St-Hubert, and is entirely on-site.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Identify, analyze, and justify project-related needs
Monitor project progress and carry out various ad‑hoc tasks as required
Maintain up‑to‑date key project metrics such as schedule and budget
Engage with project stakeholders, including Engineering, Quality, Health and Safety, clients, and suppliers
Resolve unplanned issues related to the installation phase of projects
Prepare project documentation such as the quality plan, statement of work, schedule, and business case
Requirements to be Successful
College diploma (DEC/technical diploma) with 8 or more years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree with 5 or more years of relevant experience
Master’s degree with 2 or more years of relevant experience
Fields of study: Engineering or Project Management
The key competencies required to become a Project Manager at Plant 5 are work organization, communication, adaptability, and attention to detail
