Role Overview
As a Supervisor – Lab Facility, you will lead laboratory operations, staff performance, and compliance efforts while ensuring high-quality diagnostic services and continuous operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Overseeing laboratory staff and daily departmental operations

Hiring, onboarding, and scheduling staff to ensure appropriate coverage

Conducting performance evaluations and coaching team members for growth and development

Ensuring timely and accurate laboratory testing and result reporting

Supporting staff competency, training, and validation processes

Troubleshooting issues related to testing, equipment, and specimen handling





Maintaining regulatory compliance and inspection readiness

Enforcing laboratory safety standards and maintaining a secure work environment

Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality

Assisting with expense processing and departmental operations

Supporting leadership priorities and performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or a related Clinical Science field

Experience

Four (4) years of clinical laboratory or related experience

Licensure / Certification
State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License (Clinical Chemistry, Serology, and Microbiology)
