We are looking for a family physician with a passion for obstetrics to join the Port Moody Maternity Clinic. The team provides a supportive environment with dedicated nursing staff, friendly front office, two exam rooms, and a physician office. The clinical workflow uses OSCAR EMR. Physicians will have opportunities for clinic shifts and labor & delivery call at Royal Columbian Hospital.

Responsibilities

Provide 2–3 days of 24‑hour call per month throughout 2025.

Attend flexible clinic shifts, ranging from one half‑day a week to two full days per month.

Complete up to 20 supervised deliveries as part of the Maternity Care for BC (MC4BC) program,



receiving funding and mentorship from a senior obstetrician.

Maintain accurate patient records in OSCAR EMR.

Collaborate with nursing and front‑office staff to ensure high‑quality maternity care.

Qualifications

Active medical license in British Columbia.

Experience or strong interest in obstetrics and maternity care.

Ability to work flexible part‑time schedule and respond to 24‑hour on‑call duties.

Advantages & Support

Overhead capped at $100 per delivery (up to 2 per shift, excluding scheduled cesareans).

Support for completion of the MC4BC program, including funding and mentorship.
