Development Manager - Full Stack

Hybrid work model: Two days in-office.

Responsibilities

- Provide constructive feedback and influence the performance and career development of high‑performing engineers.
- Take full ownership of the full stack of our products and collaborate with peers on cross‑team initiatives.
- Collaborate continuously with multiple departments and teams to understand their business and product strategies and translate those into strategic technical plans.
- Decide with senior management on developing long‑term technology road maps and executing existing initiatives.
- Lead multiple projects—including planning, prioritization, and task delegation.
- Enforce accountability for the quality of software that is crafted.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven leadership experience in hiring, mentoring, coaching, and developing engineering talent, including performance management.
- Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, APIs, web services, and standard methodologies.
- Knowledge of React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL.
- Creative problem solver capable of delivering in a fast‑paced workplace and finding effective solutions.




- Experience driving the development of high‑scale systems and system integrations.
- Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.

Compensation

Salary range: $130,000 - $155,000 CAD.
