Overview Location: Simcoe County (Barrie)
Occupational Therapist – Closing the Gap Healthcare (CTG) is dedicated to providing Canadians with the highest level of care across a wide range of home based and community setting services. We are looking for an OT that can bring an integrated approach in therapy services to our client’s homes. Our OT team works in a flexible, adaptable, and inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives and evidence‑based practice across Ontario. This role is not one‑size‑fits‑all and offers Full Time and Part Time opportunities in a unionized environment. Skills Needed for Success Graduate of a recognized post‑secondary program in Occupational Therapy
Current active registration and in positive standing as an Occupational Therapist with the Ontario College of Occupational Therapists
Have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle is preferred
What You Will Be Doing Change your client’s lives in the comfort of their home. Assess and build an accurate therapy care plan based on the real environment of our client, including developing health promotion programs, prescribing equipment and supplies, and promoting client safety
Apply creativity and adaptability, using critical thinking to provide complex preventative or corrective actions for a variety of clients with diverse needs
Collaborate with the client’s family members, caregivers, and other health care professionals regarding treatment goals and service plans
Because we use a hybrid model of care (face‑to‑face and virtual), you can build a schedule that works for you and your client
Maintain independence and flexibility as an OT while receiving dedicated support, mentorship, and training from a stable multi‑discipline team
