Overview
At Kardium we develop medical devices to treat atrial fibrillation. We have FDA‑approved Globe® Pulsed Field System and are a growing public company. This role reports to the Team Lead, IT Service Management and is based in Burnaby, BC. It requires an on‑site, rotating and variable schedule, including evening shifts, weekends, and occasional statutory holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide day‑to‑day technical support for employees.

Manage end‑user accounts and permissions across IT systems.

Onboard recent employees and contractors.

Assist with software and hardware setup and configuration.

Source and install new equipment.

Maintain AV solutions in meeting rooms.

Support technology enablement for building management system.

Provide input on IT requirements.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

At least 2 years experience as an IT Support Specialist.

Familiarity with hardware/software installation and configuration.

Knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware and peripherals troubleshooting.

Working knowledge of server administration, network switches and firewalls.





Working knowledge of Microsoft 365.

Ability to provide IT problem‑solving and support for desktop operating systems and applications.

Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Certifications such as Microsoft 365 or Azure, Microsoft Azure, CCNA are considered an asset.

Compensation
Base salary CAD $62,000 – $78,000 annually, plus 5 % RRSP contribution and participation in the company’s stock option plan.
