Lumerate is growing rapidly and we’re searching for a Data Analyst to join our MedTech brand, Zapyrus, for the journey!
What the role looks like:
The Data Analyst will be a critical component of our data team, involved in maintaining and improving data processes, as well as creating pipelines for new data sources. If you are someone who enjoys creative problem-solving, data manipulation, and continual learning, this may be the right fit for you! This role will be expanding our existing data team, joining as a collaborative member who interacts with data, customer, and product-facing roles.
What you’ll be responsible for
Reviewing, analyzing, and processing news content from MedTech companies in order to create actionable insights for our users
Hunting for new MedTech companies and data sources about MedTech companies to expand our data coverage in Zapyrus
Creating new data processes around acquisition and maintenance of data points
Using LLMs to identify and extract key information about MedTech companies and their devices
Managing and executing on timelines for individual data projects responding to customer feedback and requests
Developing documentation and resources for the data team to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency

What we’d love to see in your history
You have an educational background in STEM (ideally MSc-level)
You have 2+ years experience working in a data-related role
You enjoy working in small team environments, but you will be comfortable and highly focused working independently/remotely throughout the day
You are process-oriented and enjoy creating efficient solutions for challenging tasks
You’re comfortable making decisions when presented with ambiguity
You consider yourself above average when it comes to digging for information online
While you are creative and full of ideas, you won’t mind some daily routine tasks
You have experience working with LLMs, and a keen interest to apply them in your work
You’re exceptional at working with spreadsheets + manipulating and visualizing data

Location
Work remotely within Canada, or hybrid from our laid-back office (located in Toronto's Junction Triangle on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays).
Base salary between CAD $60-70K / year
