Our Ideal Candidate
As a Geomatics Technician, you will support survey and engineering projects by processing data, performing calculations, and assisting with deliverables. You are detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working both independently and with a team.

A Day in the Life

Process and interpret survey data

Perform quality control checks on field returns

Complete survey calculations (traverses, closures)





Draft survey plans using Civil 3D/AutoCAD

Generate surfaces and volume calculations

Support engineering layout and construction surveys

Assist field crews and prepare reports (stakeout, as-builts)

Support UAV / LiDAR data processing as needed

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Diploma or degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil, or related field

Minimum 3 years of relevant survey/geomatics experience

Experience with Trimble Business Centre (TBC)

Proficiency in Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD

Strong understanding of construction survey practices

Good communication and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
