Become an integral part of a specialist school as an experienced Speech and Language Therapist. Support youth aged 8–19 with autism and learning challenges through targeted therapeutic interventions.

As a Band 6/7 therapist, you will assess, diagnose, and deliver tailored interventions for speech and language needs. This role requires collaboration with an educational team to create individualized therapy approaches. You will play a pivotal role in promoting communication skills and enhancing the educational experience for each young person.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and treat children with Speech, Language, and Communication Needs
• Create and implement personalized therapy strategies
• Offer guidance to enhance communication across the school day




• Maintain exact clinical documentation following regulations
• Engage in collaborative meetings and oversee junior staff training

Requirements:
• Accredited degree in Speech and Language Therapy or similar
• HCPC registered and eligible for RCSLT membership
• Experience with children facing complex learning requirements
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
• Child-centered, proactive, and reflective practice approach
