Responsibilities

- Prepare project charters, master project plans, risk assessments, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate municipal and technical resources to meet project goals.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality control.
- Administer change controls and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Support stakeholder engagement, change management, and operational transitions.
- Develop and present project status reports, dashboards, issue logs, and risk registers to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with IT security,



privacy, and records management teams to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

- A 2-year certificate in Computer Science, Engineering, e-Commerce, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Project Management certification (such as CAPM, PMP, or PgMP) is a plus.
- Over 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a minimum of 2 years as a designated Project Manager.
- Proven skills in project planning, scope management, timetables, and risk mitigation.
- Strong communication abilities to work with cross-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience supporting large-scale projects (some over $1M) and working with security, privacy, and records standards.
- Experience with Microsoft M365 suite, Asset Management Program systems, SCADA/OT systems, or cloud initiatives like IaaS, PaaS, SaaS. (nice to have)
- Relevant bachelor’s degree combined with practical project management experience, particularly in public sector settings.
