Become an integral part of Semtech's engineering team as an NPI Product Engineer. This role plays a critical role in recent product introductions focusing on optical and analog/mixed-signal semiconductors.
In this position within Semtech's NPI Product Engineering Team, you will work closely with senior engineers, contributing to the full cycle of product development. You will assist in defining and implementing DfT and DfM requirements while engaging in characterization and yield optimization activities. This is the perfect role for an engineer looking to deepen their technical expertise and aid in high-quality product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on NPI programs from concept to release
• Assist in defining DfT and DfM requirements with senior staff




• Conduct data analysis for test processing and yield
• Support product validation and reliability testing
• Engage in continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
Requirements:
• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 5-8 years of semiconductor engineering experience
• Knowledge of statistical analysis tools
• Familiarity with semiconductor qualification processes a plus
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
