Kelly Services has partnered with a well-established manufacturing organization in Southeast Manitoba to recruit a Production Supervisor for a permanent, direct-hire opportunity.

This is a fully on-site, hands-on leadership role, ideal for a supervisor with experience leading a unionized production team . The successful candidate will report to the Plant Supervisor and will work the afternoon shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM .

Your Role at a Glance
As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations while leading, coaching, and developing a young and motivated team. You will ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate production staff in their daily activities

Execute and monitor the established production plan to meet operational goals

Train, coach, and support team members to enhance performance and engagement

Ensure quality control standards are maintained from raw materials through finished products

Enforce health, safety, and operational policies and procedures

Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues in a timely manner

Collaborate closely with other production teams to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications & Experience

3–5 years of experience supervising or managing a production team

College diploma or bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field (considered an asset)

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Proactive, goal-oriented, and hands-on leadership style
