ISL is looking for an experienced Electrical and Controls Engineer or Technologist eager to contribute to our team, focusing on municipal water and wastewater projects. Your role will involve designing electrical systems, instrumentation, and support during construction phases. Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with industry standards and providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop electrical design packages and specifications
• Coordinate design for motor controls, power systems, and instrumentation
• Conduct site reviews and commissioning support
• Prepare cost estimates and technical reports
• Check work utilizing ISL quality procedures
Requirements:
• P.Eng. or P.Tech. designation in Alberta or BC
• 5-10 years electrical engineering or controls experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar design tools
• Familiar with Canadian Electrical Code
• Robust communication and client-focused skills
