Empower individuals facing mental health challenges as a Registered Clinical Counsellor with Phoenix on a casual, on-call basis at the Main Campus. Help maximize clients' potentials through comprehensive support.
Phoenix seeks multiple Registered Clinical Counsellors to work with those experiencing substance use and mental health issues. Your role will encompass confidential counselling, care planning, and facilitating educational groups. Working closely with the integrated addiction services team, you will enhance client recovery through tailored support and community resource navigation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth assessments while respecting client privacy
• Create individualized care and relapse prevention plans
• Provide group education on recovery maintenance
• Maintain meticulous client records and documentation
• Collaborate with community services for enhanced care
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in counselling and BCACC registration
• 3-5 years experience in social services or related field
• Understanding of health determinants and addiction models
• Must pass a criminal record check and health screenings
• Strong leadership and therapeutic skills are essential
