Position
Summary
To coordinate, supervise and schedule the
activities of the production employee
Establish
methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with
other
units
Experience
Minimum of three (3) year’s experience in
a similar position in the food
industry
Excellent communication
skills
Demonstrated problem
solving
Leadership
Knowledge
of Microsoft Office (Word,
Excel)
Responsbilities
Ensure production requirements are
achieved while meeting quality, yield, efficiency and food /
employee safety standards
Effectively motivate
and direct employees by facilitating/ mentoring continuous
improvement
Review production schedule for
manpower and staffing requirements
Resolve work




problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product
quality
Prepare production reports in an
accurate and timely manner
Perform / organize
employee job training and team meetings to ensure efficient and
protected task performance
Understand and follow all
aspects of the Collective Agreement, and deal with grievances at
the primary stage
Request and control materials
and
supplies
