Join the YMCA Child Care Team in St.Thomas!Early Childhood Educator, Supply (Part-Time, One-Year Contract)Licensed Child Care, Cornerview and Stationview YMCAStart Date: As Soon As PossibleCompensationNon-Members – up to $22.00 per hour (includes government wage enhancements)Members of the College of Early Childhood Educators – up to $26.00 per hour (includes government wage enhancements)Additional: Complimentary YMCA personal membership, vacation entitlement, benefits package, pension plan, supportive network, wellbeing and counselling services, opportunities to make a meaningful impactScheduleMonday through Friday (no weekends)Minimum two shifts per week / eight shifts per monthShifts range from 3 to 7.5 hours per day, between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm; flexible timingAvailability requested 4 weeks in advance via web‑based scheduling systemShifts scheduled in advance whenever possible according to personal availability and centre needsResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver a consistent child‑centered program in line with the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum (0‑6 year olds)Provide compassionate care and support to children and their familiesEnsure continuous supervision and safety of children; comply with CCEYA, municipal, and YMCA policies and proceduresCommit to diversity, equity, inclusion and foster belongingEmbody and exemplify the Y’s core valuesDesired QualitiesDemonstrates Core Values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and InclusivityFun,
