Take charge as the Operations Engineering Leader at CacheFly, where expertise in Linux and networking is critical for maintaining our CDN's functionality and speed. This position is remote and focused on hands-on technical leadership.
In this leadership role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of CacheFly's CDN platform. Your experience managing complex technical environments will equip you to handle large-scale incidents and improve operational productivity. You will also be a key liaison for customer communication during critical situations while preparing for future managerial responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead as the primary technical resource for Operations
• Engage hands-on in upgrades, provisioning, and support functions
• Supervise response efforts during large-scale incidents
• Foster transparent communication with strategic customers during crises
• Generate informative post-mortems and implement necessary improvements
Requirements:
• Extensive experience in Linux system administration
• In-depth knowledge of HTTP and caching technologies
• Strong grasp of networking protocols and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with relevant tools and languages
• Capacity to manage in high-availability environments
