Senior Manager, Talent Development & Learning (13‑month contract)

What the Team Does

The Talent Development & Learning team helps fuel Clio's growth by bridging today's skills with tomorrow's potential, designing high‑impact learning solutions, and building strategic programs (from leadership development to talent management and coaching) that support talent across different career phases.

Responsibilities

- Team Leadership: Lead a high‑performing team of TD&L; professionals, mentoring and developing people managers and portfolio leads to create functional bench strength.
- Talent Management: Evolve and oversee global talent management programs including the annual Talent Systems Cycle, mid‑year promotion cycle, 360 Feedback, succession planning, and more.
- Global Onboarding: Partner with the Sr. Manager of Learning to optimize the Global Onboarding Experience, ensuring cultural integration and minimizing time‑to‑productivity across all regions.
- Leadership Development: Guide the launch of Leadership Behaviours, integrate them across the talent program, provide strategic direction for world‑class development programs and coaching for Key Talent, Emerging Leaders, Mid‑Level Management, and Senior Leaders.
- AI Fluency & Enablement: Build AI capability across the business, design and deliver enablement programs that grow AI fluency at every level, integrate AI fluency into performance management, and rethink how the TD&L; team works in an AI‑first way.
- Measurement & Impact: Measure and report on program KPIs, including behavioral change and effectiveness, and translate talent data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Strategy & Planning: Drive execution of the TD&L; strategy through development of team goals, KPIs,



and quarterly/annual roadmaps.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner across the People team to coordinate efforts and deliver a seamless employee experience.
- Learning Infrastructure: Oversee our learning infrastructure: LMS, content strategy, vendor relationships, and AI‑enabled tools.
- DIBE Integration: Integrate Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Equity principles into all talent processes.
- Budget & Reporting: Own reporting and narrative for success, budget utilization, and business impact of all global TD&L; initiatives.

Qualifications

- Scale: 10+ years of progressive HR or Talent Development experience, including leading talent programs and teams in hypergrowth tech organizations of 2,000+ employees.
- Leadership Experience: Managed and developed high‑performing teams, building bench strength and fostering professional growth.
- Talent Management Expertise: Deep knowledge of performance management, succession planning, 360 feedback, and career development design.
- Leadership Development: Designed and delivered leadership development programs across all leadership levels.
- Learning Design & Infrastructure: Led or worked alongside learning experience designers; understands LMS, course authoring, content libraries, and emerging AI‑enabled solutions.
- AI Fluency & Forward Thinking: Energized by AI, hands‑on fluency, uses AI tools to rethink workflows and operates at the pace of change demanded by AI.
- Strategic Execution: Executes at strategic and operational levels,



setting vision and rolling up sleeves to deliver.
- Stakeholder Influence: Strong communication skills, builds trust, drives alignment across People CoEs, business partners, leaders, and senior stakeholders.
- Data Storytelling: Translates talent data and program metrics into compelling narratives that drive leadership decisions.

Bonus Points If You Have

- Experience building AI capability across a workforce through enablement programs and integrating AI into performance evaluations and talent management practices.
- Experience with Workday HRIS or similar enterprise HR systems.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and learning technology platforms.

Compensation & Perks

The expected salary range for this role is $129,200 to $161,500 to $193,800 CAD. Salary bands are based on skills, experience, and region.
