Our business is engagement rings, but at the heart of it all we are a professional sales organization. As a Diamond Consultant you lead our customers through our unique Spence Experience. Reporting to the Store Director, you are the product expert our customers trust as they navigate this exciting time in their lives. We provide you with comprehensive training on diamonds and the Spence way of doing business.ResponsibilitiesGuide clients through our unique Spence Experience and help them find the perfect diamond or product that represents their love.Own the stage by delivering our diamond presentation, educating and empowering customers,



and offering tailored solution proposals.Stay on top of your game by completing sales activities to sharpen skills and achieve goals.Exceed targets through rigor, drive, dedication, and coaching to master your craft and unlock earning potential.Build lasting client relationships by following up and maintaining ongoing communication across in-store, phone, and email channels.Be a product expert with knowledge of our 2500+ style catalog and utilize available tools and training to get started.Be a team player and uphold Spence Core Values (Respect, Integrity, Accountability, Transparency, Quality, Passion) in daily work.QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, ideally in a competitive professional sales setting.Strong communicator with respectful and professional verbal and written skillsPositive attitude, optimistic, able to build connections with peopleConfident demeanor that instills assurance in customersGoal-oriented, motivated by quotas, revenue, gross profit, or sales activityBalance of competitiveness and team spirit; maintains integrity andrespect for the teamProblem solver who identifies client needs and offers solutions to win the sale and retain the relationshipProactive in seeking sales leads and following up; comfortable with follow-up protocolsCompensationTotal earnings for this role typically range from $90,000 to $120,000+. Our compensation plan includes base salary, commissions, and annual bonuses. The starting base salary is $50,000 annually, with commissions on each sale.
