The Strategy & Execution Manager role involves working on high-profile transactions, providing strategic and operational guidance to sophisticated clients across industries.
Your key responsibilities
- Effectively manage client engagement teams executing IT due diligence and transaction services, supporting decision makers in developing and executing transaction strategy to secure deal value. Specific tasks include:
- IT due diligence, stand‑alone costing, one‑time cost development, operating model design
- Integration planning and execution (Integration Management Office)
- Carve‑out or divestiture planning and execution (Carve‑out Management Office)
- Synergy identification, validation and realization
- Development of Transitional Services Agreements
- Development of M&A; and integration playbook
- Demonstrate excellent skills in project execution, including project management, problem‑solving, and facilitation.
- Assist in identifying key IT risks and issues related to integration planning, timelines, and functional areas.
- Develop effective client relationships at the appropriate client level and drive high client satisfaction with engagement process and deliverables.
- Participate in business development activities including preparing presentations and attending pursuit meetings with clients to grow the practice.
- Lead internal practice initiatives to continually improve the IT M&A; practice and foster an inclusive work environment.
To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years supporting projects involving IT strategy, architecture, infrastructure, cost and value, operating models,
and technology process optimization across diverse industries.
- Big 4 experience in diligence/integration/divestiture space required.
- Proven record of excellence in merger integration, acquisitions, divestitures, carve‑outs.
- Track record as a trusted IT Advisor to large (Fortune 500 and comparable) enterprises with strong analytical skills and confident translation of complex data into insights.
- Experience working in complex business environments.
- Ability to prioritize projects effectively and adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.
- Experience managing staff on multiple projects and providing direction to team members.
- Experience developing deep, collaborative relationships with colleagues in multiple practice areas in a professional services environment.
- Ability to travel to the U.S. for work on short notice.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, and divestitures or willingness to learn.
- Experience supporting integrations, carve‑outs and other transaction engagements.
- Functional experience in Human Resource Management and/or Change Management and project management experience.
- Relevant degrees and certifications (MBA, CPA, CMA, CFA, PMP).

Salary range for Toronto: $110,000 to $160,000.
