You will be responsible for ensuring guest expectations are consistently exceeded, delivering superior operating performance, providing ownership a return on their investment, and inspiring an open and innovative learning environment for all colleagues and leaders.Operations that directly report to this position include Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering,



and Security.Be a champion for Fairmont Waterfront’s Culture, Vision, Mission and ValuesDemonstrate a commitment to service excellence through the implementation of Fairmont Core Standards, Luxury Service Essentials, LQA and Forbes StandardsEnsure the smooth operation and coordination of the operating departments through their respective Department Heads, responding to forecasted business levelsParticipate in the preparation, presentation and achievement of the hotel’s annual Operating Budget and Marketing & Sales PlanContribute strategically to revenue forecasting, labor planning, CSR and ESG commitments, and the health, safety and security of guests and colleaguesLead and support departments in achieving financial and operational targets via effective organizational development and policy implementationUphold an inclusive work culture by implementing diverse and equitable practices and policiesCreate a solution‑oriented workplace that motivates colleagues to deliver luxury service experiencesMaintain accurate monthly financial outlooks for Rooms and Food & BeverageMonitor staffing levels to achieve departmental productivity targetsCoordinate planning and implementation of capital improvement projectsEnsure compliance with hotel operating controlsManage guest relations and handle guest response alerts within required timelinesParticipate in leadership recruitment within operating departmentsMaintain and update the hotel’s business continuity,



emergency and crisis management plansPromote all Company Health & Safety policies to ensure a safe work environmentAct as a key member of the Executive Committee and assume General Manager responsibilities in their absencePerform other duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious progressive experience in a senior leadership role within a similar hotel brandExtensive hotel operations experienceAnalytical skills, strong leadership, creativity, and planning abilitiesProven ability to mentor and develop team members and lead across departmentsExcellent relationship building across all departments and ability to positively influence all levelsTrack record of coordinating multiple departments toward financial, engagement, satisfaction and brand goalsExceptional oral and written communication and guest interaction skillsSelf‑confident, proactive, and capable of prioritizing and making effective decisionsProven knowledge of budget planning and financial controlHighly responsible, reliable and able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environmentStrong focus on guest needs and role‑model calm, courteous behaviorAttention to cleanliness, maintenance and detailCreative and innovative mindsetPost‑Secondary Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management or related university equivalentAdditional InformationCanadian work authorization required.Our Commitment to Diversity & InclusionWe are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.Why work for Accor?We are far more than a worldwide leader.
