Job Overview
Northern Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Emergency Department team at Fort Nelson General Hospital. The role involves providing emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast‑paced, team‑based environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and manage patients across CTAS 1–5.
Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to provide safe, patient‑centered, high‑quality care.
Document care using PowerChart or a paper‑based system.
Engage with virtual specialist services and telemedicine technologies to support timely, high‑quality care delivery.
Contribute to a team‑based approach to emergency medicine.
Required Certifications
ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and CASTED.
Salary Range
New Graduate NP - $149,382
1 Year Experience - $156,851
2 Years Experience - $164,320
