As a production coordinator, your main mandate will be to coordinate and actively participate in the daily operations of your sector to achieve objectives in health & safety, quality, costs, and deadlines.

Here are your main responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and distribute the work of your sector to meet the production plan, priorities, and deadlines.
You will directly participate in the various assembly tasks in your sector.
Use various IT tools to monitor, distribute, and prioritize the work to be done in your sector.
Contribute to continuous improvement (5S, standardization, problem-solving, reduction of downtime) and propose actions to eliminate waste.
Ensure that operations and traceability (time, quantities, scrap, non-conformities) are documented according to company standards.
Ensure that work is performed according to health & safety standards, procedures, and quality requirements.
Optimize work organization and maintain production pace while respecting standards.
Actively participate in various daily tasks with your team as needed.
Participate in various production meetings necessary for the smooth running of operations.
Collaborate with different sectors and stakeholders in the plant such as:



planning, warehouse, management, etc.
Act as a resource person when blockages occur in the production flow and ensure actions are taken to limit impacts.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD POSSESS
Hold a Diploma of Professional Studies (DEP), College Diploma (DEC) or equivalent experience in a manufacturing field.
Minimum of five years of experience in production/manufacturing, including relevant experience in team coordination or an equivalent role.
Ability to read and apply work instructions, procedures, control plans, and quality requirements.
Proficiency with IT tools (Office suite).
Communication skills fostering change, mediation, and the ability to work in a team.
Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills, sense of responsibility, and leadership.
Be organized, resourceful, autonomous, and demonstrate flexibility.
Availability to work according to the production schedule, and to support peak periods, if necessary.

Assets
Have previously managed a production team.
*Knowledge of spoken and written English.
Knowledge of continuous improvement tools (Lean, 5S, Kaizen) and problem-solving methods.
Experience with monitoring indicators (KPIs) and managing deviations (quality, scrap, downtime, productivity).
