LeverageTek is actively seeking Product Owner for a 12 month term with its Ottawa-based customer.

Key Responsibilities Define and communicate product vision and strategy aligned with organizational goals
Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value, risk mitigation, and stakeholder input
Act as the main liaison between business lines, technology, and other teams
Gather and clarify requirements from senior stakeholders
Manage the product backlog and plan sprints with cross-functional teams
Identify and address risks in product development
Monitor product performance and provide updates to senior management
Foster collaboration across finance, legal, IT, and operations
Lead business transformation and change management initiatives
Key Qualifications Business Experience: Minimum 5 years in senior Product Owner/Product Manager roles, with direct accountability for business outcomes
Strategic Prioritization: Demonstrated experience in prioritizing business deliverables and driving measurable business value
Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of engaging with senior business leaders and aligning product features with organizational goals
Risk Assessment & Regulatory Compliance: Deep understanding of financial accounting standards, legal regulations, and risk management in a business context
Business-Focused Achievements: Candidates must provide specific examples of business impact (e.g., revenue growth, cost reduction, risk mitigation)
Change Management: Experience leading business transformation initiatives

Knowledge of industry-specific regulatory requirements and standards
Bilingual in both official languages (French and English)
Experience in business transformation or change management
