This position is within our Central Therapy department, offering you the opportunity to experience a range of patient populations.

In this role you will:
Assess, develop and implement physiotherapy treatment interventions utilizing sound clinical reasoning and evidence-based practices
Collaborate with interprofessional team to develop comprehensive care plans, transition planning and engage in patient education as required
Supervise Physiotherapist Assistant (PTA) in the delivery of Physiotherapy care plan
Actively participate in team meetings to support patient care activities such as daily huddles, team rounds and family meetings.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in alignment with college and hospital standards
Perform other duties consistent with the job classification as required
Job Type: Temporary Full Time (up to 15 months)
Schedule: Week 1: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Week 2: Tuesday to Saturday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Job Requirements: Mandatory Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO)
University degree from a recognized Physiotherapy program
Current Assistive Devices Program (ADP) Authorizer for Mobility Aids. If not yet eligible, must apply within 6 months of eligibility
Preferred Functional Independence Measure (FIM) certification
Skills and Knowledge Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
Demonstrated proficiency in communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills
Demonstrated satisfactory job performance and attendance history
Salary: Minimum - $48.843/hour; Maximum - $61.539/hour
