Art-E-Motive Repairs Inc. is a family-owned automotive repair shop that provides auto shop services for all makes and models of vehicles. All of our work areas are air-conditioned.
We are currently recruiting for a full time 310S Mechanic. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm with a one-hour lunch. Willingness to work overtime or on Saturday at busy times is appreciated. This position is available immediately.
Regular Duties Providing maintenance and repairs as needed to customer vehicles
Inspect and diagnose vehicle repair needs and explain those repairs to the customer
Perform road tests
Learn to use tools and equipment effectively
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Work collaboratively with other staff
Qualifications The successful candidate must be licensed (310S)




A valid driver’s license and current driver’s abstract
An ability to diagnose trouble and report to customers
Previous experience with tire services and general automotive maintenance
The job requires use of computer system LANKAR, so an ability to learn and use computer systems is an asset
Punctuality, reading and writing skills and the capacity to work independently are essential
Additional Information Salary will be dependent on skills and experience.
