AWS Canada drives adoption of the AWS cloud across Independent Software Vendors (ISV) customers, enabling organizations to innovate and transform their business. We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to serve as a credible technical leader and strategic advisor, helping customers architect solutions to complex business and technology challenges.
In this role, you will partner with senior customer leaders, sales, and cross-functional AWS teams to influence long-term technology strategy and accelerate transformational cloud adoption. You will design end-to-end architectures, lead cross-team solution delivery, and create reusable assets that benefit customers across the organization.
Key Responsibilities Architect extensible, reusable, and operationally excellent cloud solutions to complex migration, modernization, and innovation challenges
Build and own strategic relationships with senior customer leaders across business areas, understanding their industry context and business objectives to influence long-term technology strategy
Provide technical leadership across internal and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions, building consensus on technical approaches and negotiating architectural trade-offs
Develop and deliver technical content such as workshops, prototypes, and presentations and speak at events to help customers evaluate and adopt current technologies
Advocate for customers by identifying product gaps and feature requests, and work with AWS service teams to help them understand customer needs
Basic Qualifications 5+ years of design, implementation,



or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
Deep technical expertise across multiple domains (cloud architecture, data & analytics, AI/ML, software development, security, networking)
Familiarity with modern architectural patterns such as microservices, serverless, and event-driven systems
For Quebec location: fluency in French and English is required
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree
Extensive hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Proven track record of creating reusable technical assets (reference architectures, frameworks, code samples, automation tools)
Experience designing and implementing complex AI/ML solutions, including generative AI, agentic applications, MLOps patterns, and RAG architectures
Experience with scripting, automation, and software development in multiple languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.)
Compensation Base salary: $146,000 – $211,600 CAD annually (Vancouver and Montreal). Total compensation may include sign-on payments and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). 5+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures; deep technical expertise across cloud architecture, data and analytics, AI/ML, software development, security, and networking; familiarity with microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectural patterns; French and English fluency required for Quebec location
